The Dream
Tivoli Gardens Football Club has produced some of Jamaica's finest footballers for over three decades. But our youth academy — home to 120 boys and girls aged 8 to 17 — still trains on a bare dirt patch behind the community centre. When rain falls, practice stops. When the sun blazes, dust clouds choke the pickney dem. It's time fi change dat.
What We're Building
A regulation-size synthetic turf pitch with proper drainage, perimeter fencing, LED floodlights for evening sessions, and a small changing facility with washrooms. The surface will be FIFA Quality certified, meaning our youth teams can host sanctioned matches right here in the heart of West Kingston.
Why It Matters
Football is more than a game inna Tivoli. It keeps young people off the streets, teaches discipline, and gives them something to strive for. Our Under-15 squad reached the KSAFA finals last year training on dirt. Imagine what they could do on a real pitch.
Every dollar raised goes directly to construction. The club's board and the SDF are jointly covering project management costs.
